Hayward Uskoski & Associates (HUA) was hired to design plans for an industrial building and associated parking to be constructed on an unusually shaped site. However, the HUA team was immediately faced with the added challenge of redesigning an existing stormwater system that was deemed too big and costly for the existing site. Hayward Uskoski & Associates redesigned the stormwater system to take up less property and be more cost effective for the client.  By employing creative thinking and drawing on their experience, the HUA team was able to maximize the buildable area of the site to accommodate the client’s request for a new structure with adequate parking and meet all of the stormwater control, environmental constraints and additional city requirements.
